+safe across most content. Bosses offscreening.+extremely fast for map clearing+around 70% potential Phys Damage Reduction (Basalt, Taste of Hate, etc)+decent regen+flexible, can stack a lot of block chance if needed+great single target damage (around 3 million with Victario)+much better than Zombies as you don't need to constantly resummon spectres, also you don't care if Skeletons die. So you effectively are PAIN-FREE.+can go Energy Shield and 4-5 spectres too! POGCHAMP!2) CONS. SPECTRES PROGRESSION:You will be using tillAct 5. The real problem here is hitting something every 4 seconds. The easiest way to get minion damage is to use BOUND FOSSIL though, on a level 75 MACE!You can craft up to 80% Minion Damage this way.But BETTER way is to drop%Minion Damage gear from a level 3 Temple of Atzaotl room called (Hatchery-Automation LanbHybridisationChamber) or just buy yourself a 70+ Minion Mace/Wand. They are pretty cheap now!
And you can add a minion attck+cast speed suffix veiled mode too:This makes a CHEAP and very powerful weapon. In 3.8 a new base called CONVOKING WAND was added. It's the only type of weapon that can roll +1 to ALL MINION SKILL GEMS (does not buff support gems). This type of weapon can roll a variety of mods and is potentially the BEST weapon, but a good combination is hard to get and costs a lot of exalts. However this kind of weapon, for example only beats a 10c wand by around 10%. Using 2x Convoking Wands is the only way to get the 6th Spectre 'normally' (without Midnight Bargain).-You can also craft increased Minion Life on a Stygian Wise belt using the same fossil. Do it if you are not lacking resists. Strongly recommended for UBER ELDER!For the chest, there is a HARD TO GET option instead of Vis Mortis, a Delve-only-drop chest with +1 Spectre.
Very hard to find with proper colors and it cannot be crafted! You need a ES-based chest with potentially opened prefix to craft LIFE on it (or with LIFE already). Luckily they are fairly affordable due to MASSIVE amount of people playing! For the gear i would prioritize:1) Bones of Ullr2) Vis Mortis 5-6L3) Getting a TAUNT jewel4) Bone Helmet5) Crafting Minion Damage Gloves6) Buying a +70% TEMPLE Minion Damage MACE/Sceptre with/without additional Veiled Attack/Cast Speed Minion Mod. Or Convoking Wand with +1 All Minion Skill Gems.7) Crafting / Buying GG ES/EVA-based chest with +1 Spectres8) Crafting / Buying Minion Movement Speed Rings9) Crafting a 2x-3x res high life Stygian Wise with Bound Fossil10) Elder Bone Helmet with +1-2-3 and Minion Damage to create a solid 5L for Skeletons.6) Flasks.
If you have problems.Drop Desecrate and Blasphemy/Ele.Weakness for Purity of Ice. Use Taste of Hate, drop Victario's Charity for Lioneye's Remorse and unspec Necromantic Aegis to get the bonus yourself.
Use new skill points to get a couple more jewel sockets for more life.Use Kaom's Roots if you can.Make sure your Spectres have enough leech and life pool to survive everything!Purchase additional MINION LEECH jewel if necessary!Drop Unending Hunger for From Dust. It's a great QoL for bossing. I do not recommend using AR with Spectres, as it's just not necessary, but if you fit him, here are some tips:Start using Animated Guardian when he gets to at least level 19. Better use him in a +1-3 minion Helm.Gems: Minion Life, Minion & Totem Resistances are MANDATORY to keep him alive in high-tier content. These items make him last the most and be most useful/effective:you can also use, but Bloodbond is better for Uber Elder.Drop them all on the ground and click (in a map on in lab) on Animated Guardian to let him use these items. If he dies = all will be lost and you have to rebuy/restock/reequip again. If you LOGOUT or quit the game you don't have to rebuy/reequip everything. Just resummon him.4) Best Spectres?

I prefer Solar Guards for so many projectiles, but you don't have to stick to them. There are plenty of cool spectres to explore! 4 from the gem at level 31, + 1 from chest and +1 from the tree.
So technically 6 is possible without Midnight Bargain or Dual wielding. However in order to get 4 from the chest you need to put Spectre Gem in +3 helm along with lvl.4 Empower and Dual Wield some +1 wands. So you will have to switch Skellies back to body armour. This way you will get:Base 21 gem+3 from Empower = 24+2 from the Necromancer = 26+2 from dual wielding = 28+3 from the helm = 31.It is also possible if you use. One or two of them. This will make you really squishy if you are running a LIFE build. But it is possible to do if you will respec into Energy Shield build.
For this you need really good, expensive ES gear, as well as a Clarity Watcher's Eye jewel which is worth at least 10 exalted orbs alone.6) How do you proc Elemental Equilibrium? Can minions do it? Unfortunately it is still not clear for me:( I am not very familiar of all those slangs etc.
Could you just write what to do and how step by step and give the exact end game build with exact gems setup? I cannot decide where and how to go without strict guidelines:(. Bloody zombies psvr review. I am not really 'do whatever you feel to do' kinda guy, so the descriptions like 'if you take this then you use that, but not this, if you do that you do not take this' are not really working for me:( I would really appreciate if you could just provide few gear/skill setups like low budget, medium, high and super rich so I could just upgrade step by step when I have currency. THANKS!!As it is a friendly beginner guy etc:). The PoB link is pretty much bang on with everything.
I was just saying why Unsets are end game cause you can socket more gems, these gems are to YOUR preferance. Craft unset rings with the essence that gives minion move speed. Elder bone helmets are $$$$$ so use a normal bone helmet till you get the funds. Craft a normal bone helm to have +1/2 to minion gems.
Use the shitty Bones of Ullr boots till you can craft +1 spectre boots from fossils.the endgame gear spoiler tab at the bottom pretty much lists how you upgrade as you get the funds. PoB link is more like a 'project' to give you an idea what stats and gear you should be aiming for.
It does not contain mirror gear, but it as well might be slightly different from the actual gear that i am using at the moment. Unset Rings do not matter, they were just on my other SKELEMANCER build (and that was used a base to create a Spectre one). They have better stats than the ones that i currently managed to find from scraps on my another standard necromancer character (which i had to do to showcase some actual footage).
With those changes in mind, its time to update our guide to the best Grim Dawn builds. If you want to take a look, our previous still has some solid tips if you want to try out a Warder character, although some of that info is now outdated. Before diving into specific mastery combos and skill load outs, first let's clarify what we mean by 'best'. Our best builds have these qualities:. Less squishy and more survivable in most situations.
High damage output potential. Ability to make it to later waves of Crucible or the Shattered Realm. Can tackle the sealed dungeons. Have the potential to defeat secret god boss Mogdrogen (with the right equipment and at level 85 - 100)Up until the release of Forgotten Gods, one of the top damage dealing classes was easily the Cabalist (Necromancer + Occultist) with a focus on pets and chaos damage. Unfortunately, the latest patches have heavily nerfed chaos damage and items that boost chaos pet damage. While that's still a potentially viable build just for fun, we can't recommend it as an actual 'best' build anymore at this point. Instead, we're going to look at three classes focused on melee attacks, undead pet summoning, and poison / acid damage.
Ritualist (Shaman + Necromancer)Based on personal play style preference, this is my current favorite build, although your mileage may vary if you don't care for melee combat or using a ton of pet summons. There's a dual focus here, first on summoning creatures to keep the enemy busy, then on two handed weapon attacks with internal trauma damage. It may seem strange to have two caster classes focused on physical attacks, but trust me, it works wonders.Internal trauma damage bypasses armor and continues dealing damage over time, making it very helpful with big tanky bosses.
In terms of devotion points, Hammer gives you bonus internal trauma, while Shepherd's Crook is a must for the bonus to pets. Be sure to pick a devotion constellation tied to whatever 2 handed weapon type you end up using ( Rhowan's Scepter gives a ton of internal trauma damage for maces). The goal with this build is to always have 8 skeletons, a briarthorn, a blight fiend, and a primal spirit to thin out the enemy while you go to town with a 2 handed weapon.
